Take the time to practice weighing and measuring your foods to learn more about portion sizes. You’ll want to keep these handy conversions in mind:

  • 4 ounces raw meat (without bone) = 3 ounces cooked
  • 30 grams = 1 ounce
  • 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon
  • 1cup (liquid) = 8 ounces
